This year over 4,500 items were donated by the sixth, seventh, and eighth graders and their families during the annual Latin School Thanksgiving Food Drive. Most homerooms brought in over one hundred items, including canned vegetables, soup, pasta sauce, and other non-perishables. Homerooms 6D, 312 items, and 6B, 519 items, put the pressure on their older competitors. Although 8E and 8A put forth a fantastic effort with 326 and 848 items respectively, 7F stole the show, amassing a whopping 1,354 items!
Members of Latin School C.R.O.S.S. worked diligently to load the bus and deliver the donated food to St. Brigid’s and St. Martha’s Parish Outreach programs. Through these incredible contributions, the Latin School students truly embodied the Thanksgiving spirit with their compassion and generosity.
